Hi there! The last few days in Haiti have been pretty awesome, warm, beautiful and full of Jesus Christ. Haiti is a place where people don't need the next best thing, and to them "simple" makes them happy. Being in Haiti last march, everything seems a bit familiar and recognizable. Saturday was a day to see everything again, settle in, get to know everyone at Mission of Hope. Sunday, having the opportunity to attend the awesome worship service, lead by haitians was amazing. The Faith these people have here is so cool, and its great to see how God is working in every one here in Haiti.  Today, we took off to Minotrie, a village where we painted a couples house, but also built relationships with tons of kids around us. To see the smiles on the kids faces when we are with them turn to frowns and tears as we leave breaks my heart. So many different encounters throughout this tip reminds me of how great our God is, the kids continue to ask me "Do you love Jesus?" ...these kids definitely brighten up your day. I think all in all I am super excited to be back in Haiti, God continues to show me new things on this Journey. I am really looking forward to the next days in Haiti and the experiences I will have. Its really great to reunite with "Vincent VanderVeen" our former chaperone, he is perfect for this trip, so is Jackie the other chaperone. Everyone here is super friendly, and that makes everything so great. ....Haiti, so far has been everything I thought and then some. God is Good!
